C. Dennis Alward, 83, of Bradford, PA passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.

He was born on May 14, 1940, in Ridgewood, NJ, a son of the late Thilander and Beulah Hood Alward.

On July 26, 1975, in Allendale, NJ, he married Diane E. Hartman who preceded him in death on May 11, 2017.

He was a truck driver for the former NBS Trucking and Kightlinger Trucking until his retirement.

He is survived by three stepsons, Dirk Rodriguez of Ventura, CA, Mark Rodriguez of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Rodriguez of Bradford; two brothers, David Alward of Tucson, AZ and Peter Alward of Salt Lake City, UT; three granddaughters; two great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Thilander R. Alward.

At the family’s request, there will be no funeral services.

Private burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
