Brian L. Geyer, 49, of St. Marys, PA

Brian L. Geyer, 49, of St. Marys, passed away at his home on Friday, January 9, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
He was born on August 21, 1976 in St. Marys, a son of the late John “Jack” Geyer, who preceded him in death in 2010, and Irene Sweeney Geyer, who survives of Pasadena, MD.
Brian was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a machinist for many years. An avid gun collector, Brian enjoyed collecting and shooting guns with his close friends. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed going to camp and fishing. Brian was a talented leather worker, crafting beautiful and intricate gifts for family and friends. He also enjoyed restoring cast iron, and could take anything and make it look new. A few years ago, Brian realized his dream of wanting to go to Egypt. He planned extensively to go on that trip and even purchased a new camera to take photos of the pyramids, enjoying every moment in Egypt. Though he had a quiet demeanor, Brian was witty and enjoyed joking around with those who knew him best.
In addition to his beloved mother, Brian is survived by a sister; Rebecca Kopp and her husband Adam of Pasadena, MD, and by his special niece and goddaughter; Adell Detwiler. He is also survived by a host of dear friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his lifelong best friend; Adrian Bevaqua and his cousin; Randy Geyer.
A Memorial Service for Brian L. Geyer will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Penn Highlands Community Nurses Hospice.
