On July 31st, 2023 at approximately 0434 hrs, City Police investigated an assault near 25 Chestnut Street. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and determined the actor Jasmin Otoole had in fact assaulted Arthur Kendall using her hands and a piece of furniture.

Officers located Otoole and were attempting to place her under arrest for simple assault and disorderly conduct when she refused to follow commands and resisted arrest causing the officers to have to use force to get her handcuffed and under control.

Based on the observations made and the actions of Otoole she was charged accordingly. Magistrate Cercone set bail at $2,500 strait and Otoole was remanded to McKean County Jail.
