BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO MEET IN HARRISBURG
The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners will meet Jan. 26 and 27 at the agency’s Harrisburg headquarters.
The meeting on Friday, Jan. 26 begins at 1 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is for the board to hear reports from staff. Public comment will not be accepted at this meeting.
Public comment – limited to five minutes – will be accepted at the Saturday, Jan. 27 meeting on a first-to-register, first-to-speak basis. Registration begins when the doors to the Harrisburg headquarters open at 7:45 a.m. The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. PowerPoint presentations are not permitted during public comment.
Following the conclusion of public comment, the board will take up its regular agenda, then will discuss new business.

The Game Commission’s headquarters is located at 2001 Elmerton Ave., just off the Progress Avenue exit of Interstate 81.
Those unable to attend the meetings can watch it from home. The meetings will be livestreamed on the Game Commission’s YouTube channel.
Those attending the meeting, and anyone else visiting the Game Commission’s headquarters before Jan. 31, can view the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Traveling Federal and Junior Duck Stamp Exhibit, a collection of more than 70 waterfowl-inspired artworks including the 2023 federal and junior contest winners. The display comes to Harrisburg through a partnership among the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Pennsylvania Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and the Game Commission. The display is in the building’s lobby, which is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
