Beverly JoAnn Troberg, 98, of 645 Sherry Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

She was born September 28, 1927, in Delmar, DE, daughter of the late Harry J. and Hazel V. Baer Hoffman.  She was a graduate of Delmar Senior High School and continued her education at the University of Delaware and earned her Master’s Degree of Education from Penn State University, where she met her late husband, Lars Oskar Troberg.  They were married on January 14, 1953, in Helsinki, Finland.  The two of them traveled the world together dancing the nights away and cherished the fifty-nine years of marriage before Lars passed on August 19, 2012.

JoAnn enjoyed playing bridge and she especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  She will fondly be remembered by her friends and students as a kind and loving woman, who valued education and giving back to one’s community. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Isabel Morgan and by two brothers, Alvin “Ted” and Jack Hoffman.  She is survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews as well as great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

A funeral service for JoAnn will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 4:00PM.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 3:00PM until the time of the service.
