Beverly B. Erich, 84, of 1594 Bucktail Road, St. Marys
Beverly B. Erich, 84, of 1594 Bucktail Road, St. Marys, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her residence with her sons by her side.
She was born March 8, 1940, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Charles and Loretta Nissel Schatz. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She retired from her employment with the state of Pennsylvania after thirty years of service.
On November 5, 1959, in the Sacred Heart Church, Beverly married the late Albert F. Erich, Jr., who preceded her in death on November 26, 2003.
She is survived by her two sons, Albert C. Erich of St. Marys and Kenneth W. Erich and his wife, Marjorie of St. Marys; four grandchildren: Nicole Erich (Donna), Albert Erich (Samantha), Ashley Floravit (David), and Leandra Meyer (Charles); six great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Avery, Laney, and Owen Erich and Brooke and BriElla Floravit; three step-great-grandchildren: Alex Brow and Levi and Waylon Meyer; a sister, Kathleen “Daisy” Rowley (Gil) of St. Marys; sister-in-law, Marilyn Schatz; brothers-in-law: Al Pichler, Alvin “Dooge” Vollmer, and Roger Martini, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Mary K. Erich; three brothers: Charles “Merle” Schatz, Milton “Hovie” Schatz and Marvin “Husky” Schatz; sisters: Marlene Pichler, Christine Schatz, Thalia “Mickie” Huefner (Ben), Barbara Martini, and Charlotte Vollmer; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Schatz and Donna Schatz.
Beverly was a devout Catholic and a committed parishioner at Queen of the World Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and going to the casino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Queen of the World Church on Friday, March, 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, 169 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
