Beverly Ann Repko, 73, passed away at Penn Highlands Elk
Beverly Ann Repko, 73, passed away at Penn Highlands Elk surrounded by family on July 8, 2024. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, nurse, and grandmother. She resided at 2400 Long Level Road in Johnsonburg, PA.
She was born May 31, 1951 in Spangler, PA, daughter of the late Earl Miller and Edna Mae Miller (nΓ©e Yahner). She was the second of four children, Daniel Miller, Bonnie (Gary) Nofsker (nΓ©e Miller), and Ronald (Sandy) Miller. She was a graduate of Cambria Heights Senior High, class of 1969. She attended Montefiore School of Nursing, located in Pittsburgh, class of 1972. From then until 2016 when she retired, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital, which is now Penn Highlands Elk. She had worked in the Emergency Room, the Intensive Care Unit, and then became the House Supervisor.
On May 5, 1973, in the Saint Maryβs Catholic Church in Patton, PA, Beverly married William Repko, Sr., who survives. Bev and Bill have one son, William Repko, Jr., and one granddaughter, Emma Repko.
Beverly took pride in being a diligent nurse. From 1992-1995, she was a passionate soccer coach of the Johnsonburg Area High School soccer team. She enjoyed other extracurricular activities such as volunteering in the cafeteria at the Saint Mary’s Catholic Elementary School and Elk County Catholic High School and was a member of the Nursesβ Study Club, which is held in the building above the Resale Shop on Erie Avenue. She loved sewing and quilting, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, son, and granddaughter. Bev and her sister enjoyed planning trips to the beach with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:30AM, with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
