Barbara Ann Allen Premus, 70, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024, after a long illness.  She was born July 11, 1954, in Warren, Pennsylvania to the late Edward A. and Barbara A. (nee McClellan) Allen. 

Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Warren Area High School.  She graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Edinboro State College.  For many years she was employed with Unisys and the New York Office of People with Disabilities.

Although Barbara suffered from illness, she never lost her beautiful smile and remained cheerful.  She is survived by her husband, Michael, of 37 years and siblings, Christine Allen of Warren, PA., Edward Allen (Cindy) of Bear Creek Twp., PA, Matthew (Nancy) Allen of Wilton, Maine, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kelly Allen.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, October 6, 2024, and Monday, October 7, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at Casey McCallum Rice South Shore Funeral Home, Staten Island, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:45 A.M. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, Staten Island, N.Y., Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in State Island, N.Y.  Those wishing to place memorials may do so through NAMI NYC Staten Island, 930 Willowbrook Road, Building 41A, Staten Island, N.Y. 10314-4209
