Ann McCoy Gross, 76, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 after a lengthy illness.

Born May 27, 1947 in Kane, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gauin H. and Vivienne (Carlson) McCoy.

Ann was a 1965 graduate of Port Allegany High School. On March 26, 1966, in Grove City, PA, she married Charles Gross.

Ann was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Cole Manor and loved dogs, cats and horses.

Ann is survived by her husband, Charles; son Michael and his wife Carol Gross, (Burlington, NJ); daughter Amy and her husband Brandon Mahon, (Galeton); five grandchildren, Talas, Deanna, Jordyn, Kyle, and Alexander; brother, Dr. Guy C. McCoy and his wife Maja, (Delmar, NY); and five nieces and nephews, Brian, Susan, Karin, Kristina, and Carl.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Bettie (McCoy) and James Kelley.

Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Tom Shatto officiating.
