Andrea Swartz Ribble, 45, of Kearney St. in Kane, PA passed away at her home on Wednesday (May 22) following a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 15, 1978 in Amherst, OH, she is the daughter of Carl Swartz and Cindy (Denver) Allen. On Aug. 11, 2018 in Kane, she married John Ribble, who survives.
Andrea worked for many years at Tops grocery store and people that didn’t even know her by name would definitely know who she is. She was always in the front of the store helping the cashiers and customers.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one son Brandon Ferraro of Kane; one stepson, Parker Ribble of Lewis Run; one stepdaughter, Libberty Ribble of Kane; four sisters, Jessica (Dave) Dotson of Vermillion, OH, Tammy (Mike Hillyer) Swartz of Parma, OH, Lea Brown of Mt. Jewett and Kacy (Sam) Dubaich of Wilcox; one brother Dylan (May) Brown of Okemos, MI and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two aunts, Lean Ann Allen and Judy Wotowitz and both her maternal grandparents, Richard and Irene Allen and her paternal grandparents, Carl and Barb Swartz.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home on Monday (May 27) from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kyle Good officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
