Elk County– Jason Gabler, St. Marys Area United Way Corporate Campaign Chair, and Jim Ryan, United Way President accepted a generous donation on behalf of the United Way from Anderson & Kime. Anderson and Kime Realty has been serving Elk and Cameron counties in Pennsylvania since 1965. Anderson and Kime have a team of 9 agents to help individuals with real estate needs. They currently work in St. Marys, Kersey, Ridgway, Johnsonburg, Wilcox, Bennezette, Weedville, Byrendale, Force, Caledonia, and Emporium Pennsylvania. Anderson and Kime has offices in St. Marys and Ridgway.

Anderson & Kime’s donation, like many others in the community, has helped the St. Marys Area United Way achieve their 2023 campaign goal. Funding that was raised in 2023 will be distributed via grant awards to eligible nonprofits in 2024.  The St. Marys Area United Way board members are scheduled to meet with United Way grant applicants January 16, 2024 through January 19, 2024 at the United Way office located on 250 Depot Street, St. Marys. The board will determine grant allocations and vote on awards at their annual meeting on January 25, 2024.

The St. Marys Area United Way relies on the contributions from companies and local individuals. Those donations support the financial needs of non-profit agencies that serve the health and human welfare needs of our community. Funding raised in 2024 will be available for organizations to seek grant funding in 2025.
