Alice M. Ginther, 83, of Neubert Street, St. Marys, PA

Alice M. Ginther, 83, of Neubert Street, St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12. 2026 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born on November 14, 1942 in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Wolfe Fischer.
On February 28, 1964, she married Dennis Ginther, who survives. Together they were blessed more than 62 years of love, laughter, and marriage.
Alice was a graduate of Central High School and was a member of Queen of the World Church. Alice always enjoyed the Sunday afternoons spent playing cards with her family, taking turns visiting each others homes with many laughs each time they got together. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Alice adored her family and her life’s work was caring for those around her, always putting others first. With a heart that naturally leaned towards hope, Alice saw the bright side of everything and the ability to find light in any dark situation.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children; Mary Ellen (Kevin) Turner, of South Carolina, Craig (Crystal) Ginther of Weedville, and Brian (Bobbi) Ginther of Kersey; and by her seven beloved grandchildren; Ryan Turner, Colby Turner, Halsey Gottschall, Shane Ginther, Sierra Ginther, Rachel Ginther, and Zachary Ginther, and by her eight cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Diane Brenneman of North Carolina and Barbara (Fred) Klinzing of Emporium, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by two sisters; Nancy Fischer and Sandra Tucker.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Alice M. Ginther will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the Queen of the World Church on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 9:15 AM until the time of the Mass.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Queen of the World Church or to the Elk Haven Nursing Home Activities Fund.
