ADDITIONAL CHARGES FILED IN MCKEAN COUNTY DRUG TASK FORCE CASE

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announces additional charges have been filed against the man arrested by the McKean County Drug Task Force last week. McKean County Drug Task Force Detective Michael Ward filed additional charges accusing Clarence BARKER, also known as Prince, of Contraband/Controlled Substance (bringing a substance into a secured portion of the jail) and Possession of a Controlled Substance/Contraband by Inmate or Prisoner – both Felony 2 offenses
The complaint alleges that, following his arraignment on the prior charges, BARKER was transported to the McKean County Jail and, while inside a secured area of the building, he exhibited suspicious behavior by manipulating his mouth as if attempting to conceal something. Detective Ward suspected he may have a controlled substance in his mouth and retrieved the substance from the mouth of BARKER.
BARKER was arraigned and the magisterial district judge set bail at $10,000. BARKER was being transported to the Jail by Detective Ward following his initial arrest and arraignment for two counts of Delivery of Cocaine (both felonies), two counts of Possession (misdemeanors), and two counts of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility (felonies), wherein Magisterial District Judge David Engman set bail at $25,000 and BARKER was remanded to the McKean County Jail.
