While I cannot share specific details due to an ongoing investigation, I must commend Chief Pat Warnick of Smethport Borough Police Department and Ptlm. Joshua Frederoski of the City of Bradford Police Department. Your actions were nothing short of heroic. Your professional training and experience were pivotal in bringing a dangerous situation to a peaceful resolution, ensuring the safety of our communities.

To all additional responding law enforcement agencies, EMS, and officers involved: the response I witnessed was one of the finest I have ever seen in our area. The teamwork and collaboration were exemplary. This was a defining moment, showcasing the strength and effectiveness of our services in McKean County.
