The Friends of the S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library will host a book sale on February 23 and 24 from 9-3pm in the library at 201 E Maple Street in Port Allegany, PA. The library is currently accepting GENTLY USED books in sellable condition for the sale. Please consider that items that are unacceptable and need to be disposed of become a financial burden on the library. Unacceptable for donation: encyclopedias, reference manuals, textbooks, workbooks with completed pages, personal diaries, school yearbooks, newspapers & magazines, coloring books & word puzzle books with completed pages, VHS and cassette tapes, outdated calendars, and books that are moldy, stained, torn, or falling apart. Please do not leave books for book sale outside the library after hours. Please bring your books for donation into the library during business hours. If you need help carrying your books for donation into the library, the library staff is happy to assist you! Thank you for your donation!
