Firefighters Save House on Petrolia Road

Shortly after 19:00 Allentown units were dispatched to an address on County Rd 18 in our first due for a reported Working fire with exposure issue.
The initial box brought in Alma and Wellsville for mutual aid
Alma 501 reported the fire to be directly across from his residence and was fully involved at that time, Allentown 50 went en route requesting a 2nd alarm for tankers which requested 2 tankers from Scio.
Once on scene, Allentown 50 reported a shed was fully involved with extension into the house.
Allentown 4 arrived on scene laying LDH down the long driveway and across a small bridge while Wellsville 3 set up to supply. Members made a quick aggressive attack to stop the fire spread in the house and keep it to minimum damage.
Additional units from Allentown, Alma, Wellsville and Scio staged at the road sending manpower and equipment forward to assist in fire attack and overhaul, Wellsville 1 established the initial fill site on Petrolia Hill to aid in tanker shuttle ops
Bolivar provided an engine for standby also helped set up water supply
Allegany County Fire Investigators were on scene to assist
