Coudersport Rotary Club welcomed Ann Burt to their December 18, 2023, meeting at A&W West End Grill. Ann Burt is a representative for North Pennsylvania Regional College for Potter County. She has degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology. Ann encourages us all to spread the word that the North Penn Regional College offers affordable education towards an Associate’s Degree and Workforce Programs. Cost is $185 per credit.

Classes are available in Oswayo, Galeton, Austin and Coudersport which makes it convenient for working parents and people seeking a career change. The classes are offered in person/online with interaction between students and faculty.

High School Juniors and Seniors can take college classes at $60 per credit either during or after school. They can “try on” college level work to see if it feels right for them. North Penn Regional College will help students work to get credits transferred if they wish to pursue a 4-year degree.

There is Open Enrollment, meaning there are no admission requirements. It is also helpful because students can live at home where they may have support from family and friends. The College will help students get Career Link funding if applicable. North Penn Regional College also offers a Leadership program.
