PAES once again celebrated Red Ribbon Week from October 23 to October 31 with students and staff dedicating their time to raise awareness about leading a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Students engage in fun activities and educational initiatives to promote positive choices and healthy living. It also provides an opportunity for the school community to come together and reinforce the positive messages. The week ended with the Red Ribbon Skits led by Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Beth Scanlon.

Students participating in the skits included “Among Us” by Sadie Rounsville, Lucille Andreano, Lillian Langworthy and Trinity Cumby; “Puppets Say No” by Tayana Wilbik and Isabella Hammond; “That’s Not Candy” by Nikhita Furman and Heavan Hughes; “Lesson on Drugs” by Allison Koehler, Claire Switzer and Johnna McGarvey; “Barbie Says No In the Barbie World” by Jolene Mead, Landon Shunk, Shiana Tomb and Annabelle Chmplin; “Smoking Podcast” by Aubree Rushmore, Aubri Moore and Maleigha Smoker; “Fairy Godmother Doesn’t Mess Around” Kaydence Stuckey, MaKenna Taylor, Lillian Valentine, Akira Ayers and Victoria Benson; “Hunting and Drugs Are Nuts” by Thomas Crabb, Kallye Shepard, Tessa-Jean Salada and Sophia Schoonover; “Drug Free to the LNASX Hometown Road” by Lyla Brown-Newman and Clover Gay; “The Beast Needs to Say NO” by Dana Clark and Emilee Rae Yeager; “It’s Not A Good Idea” by Kallee Houghtaling, Amelia Sanchez, Willow Valentine and Kiersten Freer; “Smoke High” by Kiya Tankersley, Eleanor Klepfor and Caleb Freer; “Parrot This” by Savannah Okerlund, Hoyt Kio, Mallery Naylor and Rosalie Gutshall; “Little Red Is Too Smart” by Bella Huss, Blair Barber, Alaina Lovell, Karlee Archer and Kya Archer; “Baby Shark Says No No No!” by Shianna Weimer and Lauralie Williams; “All Pickled” by Jaxon Rupert, Robert Furman and Leah Rochna; “Serving of 2nd Hand Smoke” by Lily Hildebrandt, Brenna Rohrer, Aliana Hendershot, Evellen Barber and Baylee Reed; and “12 Days Of Saying NO” by Marley Smith, Olivia Milliron, Lila Glasgow, Terri-Lynn Latten and Makayla Freeman.

Judges for the event were Michael Nasto, Terry Kriner, John Pascuzzi and Ray Jones.
