9400 ROUTE 249, Apt , DEERFIELD
Dept 6,5,18,26, Wellsboro ALS dispatched for a mva on rt 249 north in the s curves. Chief 6 arrived on scene reporting one vehicle on its roof with one patient outside the vehicle. Due to the circumstances of the wreck command requested a helicopter be placed on standby by. Upon further evaluation from emts and Paramedic B. Skelton on scene and consulting with micu 4 that was en route it was determined that flying the patient was in the best interest of the patient. The landing zone was set for the ball fields at elkland. Units remained on scene to assist psp and whites towing with traffic control. Units responding from dept 5 were Chief 5, Chief 5-10, Chief 5-20, Squad 5-18, Patrol 5-4. 18-7 responded as well as 26-17
