PennDOT McKean County Maintenance work schedule for the week of June 26 – June 30, 2023
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation McKean County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of June 26 – June 30, 2023, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.

Patching:
- State Route: 1015 (Columbia Hill Rd.)
- State Route: 2001 (Seven Mile Rd.)
- State Route: 1006 (McCrea Brook Rd.)
Crack Sealing:
- State Route: 6 (E. Smethport to Port Allegany)
Pipe Flushing:
- State Route: 446 (Port Allegany/Eldred Rd.)
- State Route: 1006 (McCrae Brook Rd.)
- State Route: 1009 (Bells Run Rd.)
Shoulder Stabilization:
- State Route: 146 (Red Mill Rd.)
Ditching:
- State Route: 246 (Looker Mountain Trail)
- State Route: 770 (Minard Run)
Shoulder Cutting:
- State Route: 59 (Ormsby Rd.)
- State Route: 646 (Ridge Rd.)
- State Route: 4003 (Bingham Rd.)
The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:
L.C. Whitford- Bridge Replacement
State Route: 1011 (Barnum Road)
Traffic control: Roadway closure near the bridge beginning June 6, 2023 and detour will be in place using SR 346, SR 546, Township Rd 45 and NY State Route 16.
Patriot Tree Surgeons– Tree Trimming
State Route: 46 (Betula) Traffic control: Contractor will be utilizing flaggers during work hours to control the flow of traffic
