Wellsville Police arrested Paul K. Dimpfl, age 44 of Wellsville, charging him with Attempted Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor) and Resisting Arrest (Class A Misdemeanor).

The charges from an incident at Dollar General on West Dyke Street where Dimpfl attempted to pass “fake/copy” money at the store.

Dimpfl was located on South Main Street and taken into custody. Dimpfl was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Dimpfl is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Jason L. Harvey, age 42 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and Speed in Zone. The charges stem from a traffic stop on East Pearl Street in the Village. Harvey was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.

Harvey is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 pm.
