Randon L. Moore, 59, of Walnut St. in Kane,
Randon L. Moore, 59, of Walnut St. in Kane, passed away Sunday (Jan. 8) at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1963 in Brookville, the son of Naomi “Jean” (Allshouse) Moore and the late Norris Moore. On July 18, 2009, he married Vernie Gadley, who survives.
Mr. Moore had been a self employed logger earlier in his life and then worked for several local lumber companies until his health forced his retirement.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Moore of Kane; one son, Daniel (Jenya) Moore of Strattanville; two nephews, Joshua (Ashlie) Moore of Kane and Patrick Moore of Pittsburgh; one niece, Christina Moore of Pittsburgh; two granddaughters, Anyssa and Ava Feronti; and four stepsons, Ed Gadley, TJ Feronti, Dustin Feronti and Gage Feronti. He is preceded in death by his father Norris Moore, Sr. and his brother Norris “Tink” Moore, Jr.
Friends are invited to a visitation, which will take place at the Cummings Funeral Home on Friday (Jan. 13) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
