Council Of The Arts Grant Recipients
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS Council) in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) is pleased to announce recipients of the 2024 NYSCA Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) funded Community Arts, Teaching Artist, and Individual Artist grant programs. The Statewide Community Regrant program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Nearly 90 artists, organizations, and towns from Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Tioga counties received 104 grants totaling $305,000 for arts and cultural programs taking place in 2024 and the first half of 2025. This unprecedented amount of funding is the largest in regrant history and represents a continued investment in artists and the greater community. These grants fulfill a vital mission of The ARTS Council for making arts and culture accessible to all and to supporting creative expression that inspires a more diverse and inclusive region. “NYSCA is proud to support the work of The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and this unprecedented level of local regrant funding,” said Erika Mallin, Executive Director of the New York State Council on the Arts. “By ensuring critical state funding reaches within communities all over the state, organizations like The ARTS Council are vital to New York’s creative sector. Congratulations to all the grantees, your innovative and creative initiatives will strengthen and inspire communities throughout the region. “ |
