I don’t normally post about very personal stuff on social media, but I want the world to know our niece is a Hero…
Our niece Jessica is a Hero. She is an organ donor.
Our family’s tragedy is another family’s answered prayers – five families to be exact. As five families exhale in relief today, our family mourns in disbelief. These past few days have been tough, but out of this heartbreak, Jessica will save five lives. As I said, she is a Hero.
Jess and her boyfriend were involved in a head-on collision when a woman crossed the yellow line. They were airlifted to a hospital in a neighboring state. Jess’ injuries were severe. Jess’ 16-year-old son and Jess’ mom were very brave and made the difficult decision to discontinue life support today.
Please lift her mom and her son up in prayer. They need prayers for comfort and continued strength as they walk this new path. Please pray for Jessica’s boyfriend who remains in critical condition.
