4 Penn College teams playoff-bound
Four Pennsylvania College of Technology fall sports teams will be in the hunt for championships when United East Conference postseason playoff action begins on Saturday.
The men’s and women’s cross-country teams will compete in the UE Championships at Cairn University, while the men’s and once-beaten women’s soccer teams await word on who they will face and where their first-round matches in the conference’s Volt Division will be, also on Saturday.
This year’s expanded playoff format from four to the top six teams in both the Volt and Skye divisions comes as a result of the merger over the summer of the United East and Colonial States Athletic Conferences.
Penn College playoff previews will be released in the coming days.
