Leslie D. Field, 73, of 1995 Route 305, Cuba, NY passed away December 23, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester.
Born April 14, 1949 in Olean, he was the son of Ray E. and Nellie Bly Field. He married Bonnie Powell, who survives.
Leslie was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as an NDT inspector for Walt Disney World as well as Dresser Rand in Olean and Wellsville.
He was a longtime member of the Southside Union Chapel, the Steel Workers Union, and the Christian Motorcycle Association. He also loved the Green Bay Packers, working on cars, riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar and writing music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Leslie is survived by; two daughters, Misty (Michael) Vossler of Orlando, FL., and Michelle (Freeman) Bridge of Shinglehouse, PA; five grandchildren, Ashton, Julien, Levi, Luc, and Oliva Grace; one sister, Anna Catherine Howard; and many nieces and nephews.
He predeceased by; one daughter, Loriann Field; one grandson, Ethan Ray; and his siblings, Harold Jones, Helen Berard, and Linda Cook.
Friends will be a received at the Southside Union Chapel, 647 S. Union Street, Olean on Monday (January 2, 2023) from 10am-1pm. Funeral services will begin at 1pm. Burial will be at a later date, and at the convenience of the family.
